POPDHH updates and upcoming events

Welcome to the 2019 – 2020 school year!

We are pleased to share some exciting upcoming events POPDHH has in store this fall:

ASL online – the classes for students and EAs, and ASL office hours will resume in the next couple of weeks. Keep an eye on for the info and registration link.
September 18th – 20th – TDHH Mentorship – the first meeting of year two will take place on in Burnaby. Topic: Accessibility in the classroom
September 27th – Workshop for professionals working with DHH students in Northern and Central Regions
September 25th – 27th – First annual Kootenays Konnection camp for DHH students

We hope to share some great photos and impressions from these events in our future e-news.

BC Deaf Education Committee – Please note that the contact info and schedule of meeting dates will be changing in the upcoming weeks. The purpose of BCDEC and referral process will not be affected by this transition. More details will be shared shortly, or visit https://popdhh.ca/bcdec/ for updates as they become available.

Online TDHH Directory

Please visit our BC Deaf Education Directory of Professionals (also known as Online TDHH Directory) to join or update your information. If there is a new professional in your school/district please share this with them so they can add their profile.
