BCDEC

British Columbia Deaf Education Committee (BCDEC)

BCDEC is the gateway for determining a student’s eligibility to enter the BC Provincial School for the Deaf or the Provincial Oral Program.

BCSD offers students who are eligible a learning and social environment that allows them to access information in the way that best meets their needs. Students attending BCSD also have the opportunity to build friendships with peers who are similar to them and potentially forge lifelong relationships.

All applications for these programs will be carefully reviewed by BCDEC before a decision is made.

Next BCDEC meeting: February 15th, 2024
