POPDHH e-news: March 2026

Showcase:
Participants and their teachers will be getting additional information directly to their inboxes.
Local districts – if you wish to attend DHHproud Showcase on April 13th, please send us the headcount by April 2nd. Students, staff and any parents and siblings who may want to observe and cheer on are welcome. Lunch (sandwiches, desserts, fruit, coffee, tea, juice) will be provided. If there are any particular food allergies for anyone in your party, please inform us of that too so that we can make appropriate accommodations.
Please note that we are still working on the program for the day and will post that as soon as we can.

Friendship Day at REVS Bowling – the registration is now closed due to max capacity reached.
Our DHHproud 2026 – Friendship Day will be held on Tuesday, April 14th, 2026 at REVS Burnaby from 10 am to 1 pm. That includes arrivals, welcome and lane assignments, 2 hours of bowling and lunch for the students. Address: 5502 Lougheed Hwy, Burnaby (Holdom Skytrain Station). Two slices of cheese pizza, a cup of pop, and shoe rental will be provided for students. The venue can make gluten free or dairy free options upon request. Students with dietary restrictions other than GF and DF are welcome to bring their own food. Teachers/chaperones – you can purchase food from the REVS restaurant.

Photos: POPDHH will be taking photos during the event, for publishing in our newsletter and possibly sent to media outlets for publishing. Teachers will be responsible to flag for us if any of the students don’t have a media consent form signed by their parents (especially for any close up photos where the faces of the children may be clearly visible).

A week before the event, we will send the lane designation to the venue and to the participants, plus a few other important details.
