What Has POPDHH Been Up To

This November we launched two pilot programs:
  • November 17th and 24th, December 1st and 8th – Comprehending ASL Through Stories (CATS) – created and facilitated by John and Lynley.  More updates to come in the new year. We would also like to thank the participants from 4 school districts who agreed to join the pilot: Comox Valley, Kamloops, North Vancouver and Pitt Meadows – Maple Ridge.
  • November 18th and 25th, December 2nd and 9th – Introductory Webinar Series: Supporting DHH Students in the Classroom – created and facilitated by TamaraWe are excited to launch this program in Spring 2021, and are grateful to the staff from five districts participating in the pilot: Boundary, Chilliwack, Comox Valley, Langley and  Prince George.

  • November 13th – ASL Round Table – Perspective, Pedagogy and Practice – John and Terry
  • December 1st to December 16th – Visual Communication and Sign Language Checklist Training – Terry*
