We have several announcements from our community partners at ACE-BC:

  • ACE-BC’s website is currently offline due to a cybersecurity issue. Unfortunately, the site was compromised and has been taken down while we work to resolve the matter. We are working with BCIT’s cybersecurity team to address the issue and hope to have it safely restored within the next couple of weeks. In the meantime, please feel free to contact Piper directly if you require access to ACE-BC’s  resources or online course, TIPS.
  • The ACE-BC and PDHHS Career Fair for High School Students, featuring Deaf professionals from a diverse range of careers, originally scheduled for September 21, has been postponed. We are working to secure a new date and look forward to bringing this valuable opportunity to students in the near future. We will share additional details once the event has been rescheduled. Thank you for your patience and understanding. We appreciate your interest and participation.

Royal Canadian Theatre Company – Experience Relaxed Performances This Season
At a Relaxed Performance, audiences can enjoy the show in a more flexible environment. Sound and lighting cues are adjusted to be less intense, the auditorium lights are never completely turned off, and audience members are welcome to move around, make noise, use fidget devices, or leave and return to the theatre as needed. The show stays the same, but the environment and audience is, as the title says, more relaxed! All relaxed performances include ASL interpretation.
Tickets are half price to accommodate aids and families.
