POPDHH – Early Literacy Project

At the request of the Ministry of Education POPDHH is committed to increasing school capacity to support learners who are DHH in developing their literacy skills.  In order to fulfill the requirements of a one time grant, POPDHH will be scaling up the current model of responding to direct referrals by creating a comprehensive suite of tools for  literacy screening and intervention for learners who are deaf and hard of hearing that will be rolled out province-wide.  We are looking for creative and energetic team members to help us create general professional development, build capacity in local districts through targeted training, do community visits and provide ongoing consultation with teams.
We are pleased to announce the following opportunity:
The second Early Literacy posting (ASL Specialist – Literacy) will be published and distributed shortly.

If you are interested in either of these positions and have questions (i.e., communication modality, FTE, travel expectations), please contact office@popdhh.ca or one of our consultants.
