Who: K-12 DHH students from local districts, and out of town students participating in person in DHHproud Showcase
Our DHHproud 2025 – Friendship Day will be held on Tuesday, April 8th, 2025 at Vancouver Aquarium from 10:00 am to 2 pm (however, participants are welcome to stay longer if they wish). Address: 1845 Abison Way, Vancouver. Districts will need to arrange their own transportation. POPDHH will sponsor admissions for students and chaperones according to the Vancouver Aquarium ratio rules. Additional adults over ratio may need to purchase their own admission. Food and beverages will not be provided for local districts – bring your own snacks and water. Please dress for the weather – we will not be able to get in until everyone arrives and we purchase the admissions. We will provide the total headcount to the Aquarium at 10 am sharp. The Aquarium rules state that late arrivals will be responsible for their own admission at full price.
Photos: POPDHH will be taking photos during the event, for publishing in our newsletter and possibly sent to media outlets for publishing. Teachers will be responsible to to flag for us if any of the students don’t have a media consent form signed by their parents (especially for any close up photos where the faces of the children may be clearly visible).
