Upcoming workshops, information sessions, seminars, career opportunities and more
Do you have reflections on how to build a better system of support for children and youth with support needs/disabilities who are deaf, hard of hearing, or deaf-blind? If so, Reciprocal Consulting, an Indigenous-led research and consulting firm, and community leader, Kristen Pranzl would love to hear about the unique needs and priorities of your community or the community you support.
We are hoping to hear from those who are deaf, hard of hearing, or deaf-blind. Families, allies, and service providers who work alongside the deaf, hard of hearing, or deaf-blind community are also welcome!
This engagement session will be held in-person on November 16th, from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm at the Wavefront Centre and an online session will be held on November 18th from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
Both sessions will be supported by two interpreters and a captionist. $50 honoraria in the form of an e-gift card will be provided to all those who participate and refreshments will also be provided.
Please note that the engagement sessions are carried out in consultation with the Ministry of Children and Family Development to support the development of a new service framework for children and youth with support needs.
If you are unavailable to attend the engagement sessions, there is also an opportunity to share your feedback by completing a survey.
To register for the session, receive more information, or access the survey, please email teamleads@reciprocalconsulting.ca.
Thank you,
The Reciprocal Consulting Team & Kristen Pranzl
